SOUTHINGTON — Sebring McKinley ended a 34-game road losing streak on Friday night with a 46-7 rout of the Southington Wildcats. The win marked the first time the Trojans have won going away in the fourth quarter of play since 1994 when the Trojans topped the Wildcats once again on the road.

Streaks blast Highlanders

The Sebring Blue Streaks were definitely ripe for an emotional letdown entering Thursday's match with Lake Wales. They were coming off a tough five-game loss to Winter Haven on Tuesday, but any thoughts of a Blue Streak letdown quickly disappeared, as Sebring scored the first eight points of the match and breezed to a 25-8, 25-12, 25-9 victory over the Highlanders.

Sebring Firefighter Arrested for Arson

A volunteer Sebring firefighter was arrested for setting a fire in order to collect a paycheck. Police say Kristopher Sanor, 31, turned himself into police and was charged with arson and making false alarms.
